We tested this route on a development Mac. Lautta’s public installer is still being prepared.
What was the problem?
In our clean local Wine 11.17 test, the original 2013 Windows game stalled during startup. Once it opened, the second brother’s Right Ctrl action needed an explicit Mac keyboard mapping. These findings describe our tested route, not all Mac installations.
What did Lautta change?
A separate QA copy of the Wine runtime used a traceable upstream Rosetta/WoW64 correction. Lautta’s local game route also maps the right Command key to Right Ctrl for this executable. The owned game files were not modified.
What did we verify?
The tester confirmed visible gameplay, audio, controls, and checkpoint continuation after exiting and restarting through Lautta Play. The interaction key was tested in gameplay after the mapping change.
What remains unverified?
The corrected runtime is a developer QA artifact, not a distributed release. Frame pacing was not measured and in-game video remains untested. Lautta has no public installer yet.
